Well I hope  have, unless it’s back working again

I fly a Mavic & a Spark but I found the fix by choosing Inspire in Go4

I had to reboot the CS multiple times to bring up option for online maps
Reboot CS and don’t do anything but go to GO4

Choose Ispire 2 top right of screen press = the 3 horizontal lines

If you do something out of order you need to reboot as the option goes away.

Follow the attached screen shots.  start at the bottom photo and go up

I downloaded all of Australia, Hawaii & Florida and they are working

Had it working this way for me also once, but that is enough to download the maps you need, and they stay located in CS memory.

It was a fluke but I’ll take it.

I got it to work once but Ontario maps would only load to 1% then nothing.  Started over a few times more after a re-boot but could only get Chinese cities.

Yes the Chinese maps came up for the first.
Did you turn of the Chinese maps options ?

Are in in Inprire 2 ?
Keep rebooting hopefully you will get it to work

Success!  I rebooted a couple more times and then all countries were displayed.

I then successfully downloaded maps for:
All of North and Central America 8.04 GB
United Kingdom All Regions 793.28 MB
Greece 441.13 MB

TIP: When downloading large regions, scroll the screen up or down every 30 secs or so to keep the Crystalsky from auto powering off, which will pause the download.

SUCCESS!  I tried it again before I went to bed and it worked.   Just using the display with no AC or RC connected.

Downloading oflfinemaps have not been my problem.
The problem for me and maaaaany others on this forum is that once they are downloaded offline, everytime that you startup the app you get into some sort of "China mode" and the map shown will be "no map" at all, and in the map screen there is a chineese sign/word and going into the offline maps section of the app there are only China regions listed.
To get out of this mode there is no clear way (for me) but if you turn on and off the app, and also going into the offline maps section in and out a couple of times, it eventually loads the correct maps.
Extremely enoying and DJI they just do not have a clue as usuall, however they are giving out all sorts of useless advices, even when they know that the offline maps do not work.

I think i found the answer to my dumb question. The CS has GPS so any place any where it will be able to connect to the satellites regardless i have downloaded or not offline maps.
The offline maps are for more in detail view ? true ?

Yes Mate. I only use offline maps when I’m overseas with out cellular
You can use wifi or wifi your phone to download detailed maps

You are correct about the gps maps.
Offline maps  I use when I’m overseas or no cellular network.
You can use wifi or wifi your phone up to get the more detailed maps.

Yes can still fly your done if you don't have satellites. You just can't  use DJI Go. Just fly on your sticks in Atti mode. I try not to do this but you can.

I have noticed the Academy videos are not playing in my crystalsky  monitor for some reason .  Is that something people have noticed too ?
I need to do all the correct settings in my MP first before any fly. lot to learn and  lots of  youtube videos to watch..
I want to continue studying and practicing first with my  syma x5c drone first

No mate. I don’t have a Inspire. That’s was the only place i could find the option for offline maps after multiple reboots.

NB. You don’t connect any drones whilst you are doing it.

That's a great guide because i have been looking for this to implement a same type of query in my website. I have implemented maps on many websites because i have been doing web design dubai for about 4 years.

Not working. Only black screens for mapbox. No downloads either.
