I just took a 3-4 week break from flying and went out this evening for a bit. System showed firmware was current and about five minutes into flying I got a message that flight had been restricted because my phone was not linked. For some reason, the bird was barely responsive to the controls and flew back slowly. Finally landed but it was getting late and didn't have time to finish the linking procedure, which I will do in the morning. But I was curious about this change and why this link is now required? Didn't understand why flight was restricted in mid-flight. Was just glad I wasn't trying to film something important.

Hi there, may I know what was the range when the disconnected message appears? I‘d suggest change to another location without interference or obstacle to see whether it helps.
