Loved seeing the horses. Now horses are prey animals - meaning OTHER animals eat THEM. So horses have millions of years of instinct that says, "If something is strange AND if it makes noise AND if it moves, it probably wants to eat me. So run away NOW - as fast as I can". That said, none of those horses even flinched at your drone. I've had the same experience here in California. I'm part of a Sheriff's Mounted Search and Rescue Uunit, so we spend lots of time getting our horses to NOT fear the countless strange things they see when searching. But when I've brought my drone along to get them used to it, it's been quite a non-event. They just ignore the drone - like in your video.
Thanks for the information. Yes, i think since these horses are trained well and spend most of time with humans. they got use to it. But i am sure, wild horses are not the same. thanks |
