haha,good idea,,,but I"ll look at the performance of this product first.

That’s always advisable and very sensible to research the product before buying but it will still sell out whatever the specs as few do.

I will have to decide quickly, since we have a shop in NL that starts a big sale 2 days later.
So either I'll end up buying a Mavic OR wait for the 'new bird' to be tested by some early adopters..
I'm not sure what I would like more (wait some months for the new bird to be tested by others or go for a cheap Mavic)

Like the https://www.dji.com/phantom-5 link does.
Not sure if it means anything, but the IT department at least made some effort to redirect the first URL.

Well damn. I just bought a Mavic Platinum Pro Fly More combo with DJI Care Refresh like a week ago and I've only test flown it once. Bought it for my trip to New Zealand in March. I waited for CES to be over to ovoid this exact scenario. Any chance they would let me return or trade?

I would be fine without, but much of what I am reading is saying it may be a improved, smaller mavic with a Phantom 4 quality camera and weatherproofing...

Which would make me super remorseful.

Anyone with experience with DJI in this matter? Returns possible after a test flight? With DJI care refresh. Got it less than 7 days ago.

The anticipation is killing me. I saved and saved to purchase a P4P and a set of Goggles which I bought in December, and I’m very happy with them. After joining this forum and reading about the Mavic along with its integration with the Goggles, I’ve decided to get that too. Had it in the cart and was well on the way to ordering it and decided to look here one more time. Then I started to see all the speculation about the next version of Mavic. I usually wait until a new release has been out for a bit and they can shake off some of the bugs. But I’ll probably be one of the bug checkers in this case. Really looking forward to this weeks announcement.
