I have a Phantom 3 standard and it recently crased. I had a warranty so I got the money back that I used to pay for the drone, the only major damage was the camera, it completely came off and is broken badly. I was going to get a new one but then I thought maybe I could get the 4k camera for it instead (like the one on the Phantom 3 pro and Phantom 3 SE) but I wasn't sure if it would work. Please tell me what you think!

No, you cannot fit the 4K camera to the Standard, the electronics in the body of the aircraft do not support it.

Geebax knows the answer! If your a good technician you can try to mod the drone, which you shouldn't do unless you want to change up how you operate it, the 4k camera would not be stock, but you would have to attach it and mod the electronics in the drone to get it to work.

Also I am kind of new to DJI so I was wondering if they made some sort of special 4k (or just something better than 2.7k) camera for the P3S?

Hi there, I'm sorry to tell you that currently there is no specific 4K camera for P3S.

You would have to get a P3SE or higher for 4k camera.
