Completed the latest FW on the MP and upon completion noticed these red lines on objects. Pretty annoying especially when flying. Took some time trying to troubleshoot and realized it has to something to do with the AF/MF on the screen. Have you guys noticed this, how did you adjust ? Thanks for any assistance.

Try to turn off the focus peaking.

as donmigel says: peak focus threashold to be found in camera settings close to grid line settings.

Always a good idea to go through settings after firmware updates. But yeah looks like peak focus.

Thank you. Look there and couldn't anything that would adjust that, you meant on the actual screen? b/c that's where I saw a wheel to adjust.

Trust me I had the same issue after latest update. Mine looked like jail stripes.

yeah never seen anything like it....


just reviewed and I think I've fixed it. Seems like I had to just reset to AF instead of MF and also checked the 'Focus Peaking' and set that to none.

Correct. Just took another look to make sure that was set to none. Thanks a lot for the tip Migel.

Lots of times, you want focus peaking turned on so you can be sure the area you want to be sharp is what really is sharp.  It's also a reminder to pay attention to focus.  It's pretty easy to go fly a complete session and forget to check focus.  Very disappointing when you pull the video to the computer and expect to see this beautifully shot masterpiece, only to find out it looks like you forgot your glasses.
