Got my X7 and much to my dissapointment it wont pan and tilt. The gimbal seems to stabilise and if I move the tilt wheel on the controller it will move the tilt for a few short seconds just after boot up but after that there is no gimbal controll. Ive tried single and dual operator but never can I controll the gimbal pan tilt.
I can control the camera settings no problems with either controller, I can focus no problems but pan and tilt wont work

Im running the latest formware V01.01.0300

I've Re updated the firmware with DJI assistant 2 first with the gimbal disconnected and then again with the gimbal connected but that didnt help

Please Help

In a last ditch effort downgraded to  V01.01.0200 and then everything worked as it should. Tried to go back up to V01.01.0300 but same thing, no gimbal control. I'm now back to V01.01.0200 so I have a working bird. Is anyone running the latest firmware with no issues? Seems strange I'm the only one having this problem when its quite clearly an issue with the latest firmware.

Sorry to know you are experiencing difficulties, may I know how you control Pan in RC? C1+ left dial, right?
Have you tried to reset gimbal settings in Advanced Settings--Gimbal Settings with the new firmware? If the issue persists, we would appreciate if you could provide us a short video, thank you.

Thanks for the reply DJI Mindy.
I am controlling tilt with the wheel on the top left of the controller when in single operator mode or I have setup the slave controller to control pan and tilt with the right stick and roll with the left stick.

I did not try to reset the gimbal settings but I did do a full factory reset in the DJI Assistant 2 software.

I did some testing today and everything works perfect on firmware V01.01.0200. Its only the new firmware V01.01.0300 where the gimbal will not move.

Thank for your clarification, in Gimbal Settings---Advanced Settings, if the Max Gimbal Pitch Speed and Max Gimbal YAW Speed become 0, the pitch axis and yaw axis will not be controlled, please help us to double check the settings when you are available, thank you.

Same issues as above user and I tried the same fixes along with the last suggestion.  It’s clearly a firmware issue, when can we expect an update to fix this?

Ok I got the time to do some more testing on this today.
Today I tried to upgrade again to the latest version V01.01.0300 but the same thing happened no gimbal control after updating. I checked the gimbal settings and reset all camera settings and gimbal settings in the app but still the gimbal wont move when using the tilt wheel on hte top left of the controller. I also tested with second controller but it does not move.

I also borrowed an X5S and tried it on my aircraft and it works fine on the latest firmware V01.01.0300.

The gimbal has been working fine on the older firmware V01.01.0200 so I will switch back again.

Can you please give us an update on this problem? Looks like there is at least one other person having this same issue on here.

I am also having problem with gimbal control following upgrade to firmware V01.01.0300
Gimbal Pan control is working using C1 + left dial
Gimbal Tilt control using C2 + right dial does not work, the gimbal stays pointing stright ahead.
Gimbal electrical connection is fine, when the Inspire 2 is turned on the gimbal does its usual dance, left right up and down, so there is no hardware failure.
In the DJI Go 4 App it says the right dial is locked, maybe that is the problem?
How do I unlock the right dial wheel?

This seems to be a software or configuration problem, can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Rob

Sorry for the late response and my previous post, please find ''Gimbal Yaw Smoothness in Follow Mode'' under Sensitivity in Advanced Settings of the Main Controller Settings, reduce the value to make the control more sensitive. 28783378_414082989019588_4821861367562093170_n.jpg

Has anyone with this problem tried the latest firmware V01.02.0100 and does it resolve the issue?

I see that this firmware is can not be down graded so i'm very hesitant to try.
