Hey Team,

Recently I have been thinking over my flight pack and what I take with me vs. what I leave at home on a typical flight day.  I have provided a picture of my current set up below;

Ive also itemized a list;

DJI Mavic AC
4 Mavic Flight Batteries
DJI Spark AC
4 Spark Flight Batteries
Racing Quad
8 - 10 Racing Batteries
Spektrum RC
DJI Goggles
Fat Shark Goggles
Taco RC ND Filters (Mavic)
Polar Pro ND Filters (Mavic)
Bin of extra props, manuals, odds and ends.

Im curious, what all do you find essential in your flight kits?

It strikes me that the rc to the right supports over 200 different ready-to-fly aircrafts, is the cheapest of the 3, and also is the only of the three that supports more than one aircraft.
Similar could be said about the fatshark goggles.

Eh, different tools for different jobs, while it would be cool to pair an AC to my spectrum, i actually prefer the lightweight ability of just my mavic or spark when traveling light.

My Fly-More Combo Bag has been retired as I found it awkward to open while on the go, even more so during the cold weather.

Back-Pack when I'm out and about flying:
    • Original polystyrene case
    • Spark (with gimbal cover and propeller guard)
    • 3 x Batteries (one fitted to Spark)
    • 4 x Spare propellers
    • Remote Control + Stick cover
    • 3 x Silica Gel bags to soak up any moisture
    • Cloth to dry the Spark if it starts raining while out

In my main storage case I keep the above as well as:
    • A length of ribbon laid across the case before placing the baterries and Spark in.  This makes it easier removing the batteries, as the fit is a little snug.
    • Charger, UK plug & cable
    • USB cable
    • MU Folding USB plug (UK) (if you haven't got one, you should)
    • 4 x Landing legs (never used)
    • 4 x Propeller guards (no longer used)
    • OTG Cable (never used)

    Thnx.
Small size and low weight are most important for me. So this is a quiet good usage of the bag.

Just got this Nanuk 905 case last week. Defiantly has all I need. Got a few filters and cables under the spark. Have my old S5 in the case as well. Pretty slick.

Slick indeed.  I've always liked cases that provide both storage and protection over just storage.  I myself am still using the fly more combo bag.

I keep mine as simple as possible.

I have my DJI charging station with Yellow Spark with 3 batteries, my remote and remote charging cord stored all nice and tidy in my DJI charging station bag.

    A Nanuk for a Canuck?

I absolutely love Canada.  You have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.  Can't wait until I return.

Anyway...great looking case, but you could enhance its functionality so much more by placing a wide ribbon along the width of your case prior to inserting the Spark and spare batteries.  This makes it so much easier  to remove the electric budgie and batteries, especially when the mercury plummets at this time of year

I appreciate that you lit up the batteries with a poke before taking the picture. Adds a little something extra ;)

Wow, here's a challenge for you. Launch the spark and set active track on the Mavic, then launch the Mavic and set active track on the racing drone, and then fly the racing drone around.

Have the fly more package with an extra battery.  Being cool here in Canada now, I added some thin gloves with treated finger tips that work with the phones touch screen.

Sometimes simple is best.  I deff need to get some of those gloves for myself as well.  Gets rather cold here in Colorado.

Found thinner gloves more precise and responsive when using the touch screen.  Picked up something like this at a safety supply store.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076YL ... D&pd_rd_w=UUd8W
