Tested both modes at 100M high.
P-Mode is more safe, it few 11KM in 23 minutes and still got 15% battery after landing.
S-Mode is more dangerous, it flew 10KM in 13 minutes and triggered auto-landing because of too low battery (4% after landing). Strong wind when I test S-Mode.
Something funny happened - the remote-controller restarted a lot of times when Mavic is 1KM away, no signal, restart, same route saw a lot of "Strong Interference to Remote Controller. Signal interruption maybe more likely. Fly with caution.".
When I flew with P-Mode, it reached 2.1KM still got 3 bars of signal - most important is the remote-controller never restart, it can lost the signal for 1-2 seconds then come back.
So not sure the RC singal is bad in S-Mode or not.
