Do you know estimate shipping time?

No idea. However I thought better do it now or I might lose the code or it expires. I have no idea... And the whole free trial period I didn't get too, since I had to pay. Maybe they refund you if they like what you did with it. I don't know. However I am serious that I was going to buy it and I can't wait to take it on the mountains.

I applied the first day the application was open just a few hours after the post. I just tried to apply again for a screenshot and was able to do it again with all the same information. Does this mean my first one didn’t go though correctly?

Fairly sure yeah. It’s possible I could have entered it wrong once, which would really stink.

Isnt this just a selling stunt of dji? They make you happy with this priority shipping code and say the first 1000 who order get this priority code. How do you know you are one of the 1000? I think they just sent everyone who orders  this shipping code if you are one of the 1000 or 2000 . At the end , they just ship the drone at the same time and people with or without this code  will receive it around the same time.

Im in and applied!! Hope i get a trial so baddd!!!

Yes. They are very strategic with their methods of marketing the brand and creating interest. Everything from sending out lot’s of review units before the reveal, to launching these types of contests.

Also being close to Apple, selling in their stores, Air-Pro naming conventions is all closely aligning their brand image to that of a highly sought-after luxury brand.

Even their release schedule is carefully planned to garner higher chances of someone upgrading (read: buy another product.) We will see at least two more releases this year. My best guess in and around April and later in the Fall (Sept/Oct). New Phantom 5 and Mavic Pro 2.

They lead the market and will do everything in their power to sustain that position.

I’ve got to hand it to them, it’s working.

I have the 'Priority Shipping Code'.  Unfortunately I discovered when you apply the code for the 'Free Trial Program' you still must enter your credit card information and WILL BE CHARGED the full price of the Mavic Air.  I was told by DJI Customer Service Rep. that when you RETURN the MAVIC AIR after the trial period they will REFUND the money charged to you.  

So needless to say since I already ordered the Mavic Air (should ship today) I don't want to be billed twice on my credit card.  In turn, I have the Priority Code but will NOT be using it.  It would have been nice if DJI had clarified this program a little further.  The release they put out in the original message of this thread was quite vague.  Hopefully, going forward they'll offer a real 'FREE TRIAL' program.  If your still charging a persons credit card than it's not FREE.  Just asking DJI to spell out the terms/conditions a little more clear when putting out a press release.  

P.S.  ADMIN - Would also appreciate getting the the 1,000 points as I submitted for the program before this forum post went up.  Thank you...
