Is it ok to have both the GSPro and GO4 apps open at the same time? The camera settings controls are limited in GSPro so I would like to swap between the apps from time to time in order to check exposure with the zebras and histogram.

If your device can ha sleep multitask or if the app lets you then yes

I have tried it and have had no luck. I can start the GSP and connect to the UAV. Everything is working like it should. Minimize the GSP and start the GO app. It connects to the UAV as expected. Minimize the GO app and tap on the GSP "which is still running in the background" only to find out that it has disconnected from the UAV. I can reverse the sequence with the same results.
