Hello Inspire users,

in my freetime I created a small online tool to convert the DJI Inspire Flight Records written by the Pilot App to detailed CSV-Files, extract the 4 moments that were captured during the flight and to create a KML-File for import into Google Earth to show the flight route of your aircraft and the RC position on the ground.

To use it, you need to sync your Flight Records with the DJI cloud and login into the website http://thecutter.net/djiconverter/ with your DJI/SkyPixel account that is used in your DJI Pilot App. No Login information is saved!

You are not forced to use it. ;)
But many users from German Kopter-Forum.de already used & tested it.

How did you manage to find the file format of the logs?
I have been asking DJI for months and still haven't heard anything back from them regarding telemetry extracted from these logs.

As long as you don't add an endpoint to the api to get a valid token like facebook, twitter or other websites there is no other way.Or you could display the token in skypixel.com so the users can login with the token only.

I created a website because I'm a Microsoft .NET developer and would only create a desktop application for windows users. So the apple users didn't have a chance to use it.

However as I said: I don't store any sensitive login information. And you are free to use it, if you have security concerns, then don't use it.

I just added an option to upload the Flight Record TXT files without logging in to Skypixel.

Updated to support latest version of Pilot App.

Is It possible that DJI can make a printable logfile or a log system where you can extract info that you need to present for the autoritys (Pilotlog, Systemlog) when they demand it.The log in PilotApp is ok, but sometimes need to hand over a report to autoritys on paper.

As an airplane can be remotely hijack through the entertainment system I am curious to know if the inspire can be hijacked through the app if somebody has your user and password and has knowledge of hacking?

OMG! Are you serious?With the official DJI pilot app there is NO way to remote control the aircraft. Theoretically it could be possible through a third party app using the SDK.

But as I said: If you don't trust me, you don't need to use the tool. You can upload your flightlogs without logging in to skypixel.

The upload tool is great!!

This tool ROCKS!!!. Thank you so much for filling a gap in the process and allowing the capture of the kml file! Awesome and I use it to store EVERY flight.
Now, since you've proven your capabilities, GROUND STATION???
Just kidding. many many kudos for your awesome program. J.

Just uploaded a new version.
In the future I will add a export file for dashware.net.
And maybe if it is requested an offline version.

I already used GroundStation functions with the Inspire 1 using the SDK provided by DJI.
HotPoint works great, Waypoints are not finished yet. Still some todos on DJIs  side.

Removed anonymous upload due to heavy server load because of large files with wrong data that are uploaded.
Added 10 free conversions/downloads per user. Unlimited conversions/downloads are available after a one-time donation of 5€.
Decimalpoint-Character now based on browser language.
CSV seperator changed back to ";"
Added RelativeTime (time from start in seconds) column to CSV details file for DashWare import.

I tried to do a conversion and the zip file didn't include a kml file,  just two csv.    Am I missing something?

I had the same question today: no KML files included in the conversion. Is this a change in the software?

could you make this open source to show us you don't store any information..?
