on-off switch of the RC, yes

Do you know if there are settings stored in the RC? That is what I am thinking, either stored on RC, or AC since I am missing certain things on two different phones, I am thinking that I need to reset both.

push power button for 9 seconds and listen for the 3 beeps.  Same with resetting the aircraft as well.

Sir, if you want to restore the factory setting, please connect your spark with DJI Assistant 2 in PC and choose the selection. Here is the link for you to download the software:

there is a video on youtube for resetting the RC wifi..yo have to open the unit to get to the switch

A fare questo procedimento al drone cosa gli succede si cancellano tutti gli aggiornamenti e bisogna rimetterli uno a uno o solo l'ultimo.
