Does anyone know if all the available Video Resolution of the Mavic Air will have 100 Mpbs video bitrate?

Form the specs page:

Video Resolution
4K Ultra HD: 3840×2160 24/25/30p
2.7K: 2720×1530 24/25/30/48/50/60p
FHD: 1920×1080 24/25/30/48/50/60/120p
HD: 1280×720 24/25/30/48/50/60/120p
Max Video Bitrate
100Mbps

And, also interested if that is the actual recorded bitrate, 100 or compressed to lower, kind of how pro had a listed bit rate but recorded lower at 4k.

I confirmed the recorded bitrate is 100 Mbps!

I just did a quick test on mine using :  4k 24fps and it was averaging 104 and change and at 2.7k, 24fps it as nearing 95 and then for fun did 1080, 120fps and the input bitrate there was averaging about 24. Hope that helps .

Crap! What the H? Only 24 at 1080p 120fps? That is worthless.... for 1080p i need about 1Mbps per FPS....... or at least 50Mbps at 120fps.

That is not progress if thats the case. I think its fair to say MP and MPP owners are fairly content with general aircraft performance, the exception being the camera for most owners. My recent survey clearly evidenced the camera area is what most owners would like to improve. The Mavic Air is more like an upgraded Spark, the Mavic Pro 2 will probably be the way to go if improved camera performance is your requirement as and when released.

Hopefully the 1080 video quality exceeds that of the Spark perceptually somehow? If not, this product will be a huge disappointment for my needs.

Just tested 4K @30Fps. I'm averaging 102Mbps. I guess we can always downscale and retain 100Mbps to whatever resolution.

I need 1080p with 120fps, that is one of the main reasons i bought it. With a low bitrate i will be quite mad.

1080p 120fps video is played back as 30fps to show slowmo. that's why it's only 25 mbps. if you play it at 120fps, it will be 4*25=100mbps

Ah.... Great. The raw file should read 100Mbps then at 120Fps

Finally someone with understanding of how things work!
So yes, Sparks 24Mbps at 30fps is pretty similar in levels of detail to MAs 100Mbps at 120 fps.
Important figure is Mbps per frame for any given resolution.
So for spark it is 24 / 30 = 0.8Mbps per frame and for MA it is 100 / 120 = 0.83Mbps per frame so slightly better for MA, BUT you get slow motion which is IMPOSSIBLE to get on Spark at all out of the aircraft. There are some little tricks like optical flow interpolation in post but we are speaking raw power here so to speak.

Does this mean that I can still export 1080p slowmo at 100Mbps?

You will get a video file with 120fps at 100Mbps. If you slow down to 30fps you get about 25Mbps. So slow motion video is not 100Mbps technically

You will get a video file with 120fps at 100Mbps. If you slow down to 30fps you get about 25Mbps. So slow motion video is not 100Mbps technically

These are basic principles of time warping/ramping/changing.... whatever you call it.
If you play your footage at lower frame rate, you decrease the bitrate.
Technically it IS 100mbps as that figure is always meant under assumption that recorded fps will be the played fps.

Hello .  Does anyone know if there is a way to  CHANGE video bitrate in order to reduce it lower than 100Mb/s ?  it should be usefull for several players (like SAMSUNG TV KS7000 ) that don't process so high bit rate.  Thanks

Yes. Almost every video converter has ability to change the bitrate, although options can differ from codec to codec. I use Adobe Media Encoder.
