I am just wondering, did DJI ever ship the Phantom1 pre-fitted with the Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal ?  Or were they all upgrade devices !

Ump..

Well, not really.  Even the Phantom 2 doesn't come pre-fitted or pre-assembled.  The gimbal came in a separate box and I had to mount it on the Phantom.  

I have since found out that DJI offered an upgrade Mainboard specifically for the P1.  I did not know this as I have only just got it.  And because the install looked so professional I thought it was OEM fitted - lol.

My next question is does DJI offer a replacement ribbon cable for the H3-2D, I am having problems locating one.
