Here's a screen video to illustrate compass error issue I'm experiencing with my newly acquired M200 ... After a mere 3 test flights within 50 m maximum range I'm refusing to perform any more take off's untill the issue is addressed ...

Matthew, please try to change another place, calibrate the compass and IMU, then restart the drone and check if the self-checking displays normal. If everything is normal, you can try to take off again, don't fly too high, and fly with caution. Please don't fly when the compass error persists and keep us updated here, thank you.

Thank you, Thor. The place I'm testing and practicing with all my DJI drones is well known for trouble free environment. Never had any issues of this nature with any other drone. Said that, I'll try to perform calibrations again in different place as soon as -20C temperature goes away, They dumped 1 meter of snow here last night as well ...

Thank you, Thor. How many compasses M200 is equipped with? One may expect twin compass approach at least for reliability, similar to Inspire 2 or Phantom 4 Pro. Unless M200 employs entirely new compass technology ...

there is only 1 compass in the matrix, the other is in the external gps antenna

Olivier, you mention this already, I'm still confused ... What GPS antenna you're talking about? GPS antenna is glued to top cover beneath, the same way as with Phantom drones. M200 is not equipped with external GPS antenna of any kind ...

When will the "update" be available? When can we begin to use our drone we paid for 3 months ago?

HI Guys,

DJI released a firmware two days ago. Has this update helped you? It hasn't fixed our M210 RTK. We still have the same problem.

The New update dif not help our M200 either. From what I have been reeding about this issue this is not a softwareproblem it's more about a not good enough isolation of the wiring causing the electronic to interfere with the GPS. Seems this is only a problem on some drones. So if you don't have this problem you are probably in luck and if you do, ask DJI to reglage the ond with a new. Seems that they are both show and bad om repairing this issue.
