I ordered my Mavic Air on Thursday along with DJI Refresh. I just purchased DJI select a few minutres ago to hopefully expedite shipping.. Do I need to alert DJI that I now have DJI Select so they raise my shipping priority or will their computer alert them?

I just saw a post where DJI told a guy his was not being shipped till 2/15 . Do the majority of people purchase the Select? I thought if you had Refresh you didn't really need Select.

Refresh is only applicable for speedy service in the event of you returning the drone to DJI such as crashing it - not when you purchase it. Give it a few days and if no email confirming shipping then come back to this thread and pose the question. A DJI Administrator may be able to take your order number and give you a more precise indication before then anyway by reading this thread. I have seen threads on here today of unboxing posts of the Air though so it shouldn't be too long.

Care Refresh and Select are totally different things. I suggest to read a bit about both on the DJI website. Too much information to repeat here.

You are most welcome :-). In a nutshell Care Refresh is about getting replacement when you crash your drone and Select is about getting priority shipping and discounts on Care Refresh rate and Accessoires.

So even though I purchased the Select two days after I purchased the Mavic Air I will still get the priority shipping?

I don't know about two days after, but I bought mine right after buying the Air (you have to have recently bought a drone to buy it anyway, I believe) and my Air has shipped.
