I am simply passing on a mod that someone else posted on you tube that I have found VERY useful. I have not yet seen it mentioned on this forum.

I use a Nexus 7 for a lot of my flying and have made an adapter to fit it to the unmodified RC. The arms will not open wide enough to accept a 200 mm tablet. The adapter works but is a little cumbersome to use and of course its an extra bit of kit to carry.

The extremely useful mod is to file a small groove in the body to allow the arms to open a little bit more. It is best illustrated in the following photo. Such a small mod makes a big difference.

I only use my samsung tabe s2 (8 in.) table with the RC without any mod! Just push the bablet between the arms. The cutouts in the arms are to accomadate the 8 inch tablet
