For those of you like me who ordered the Mavic Air "Flame Red" and thought shipping would start today.  We'll, just confirmed the 'Flame Red' won't be shipping today (1/28/2018) with the White and Onyx Black Mavic Airs.  Perhaps if you had the 'Priority Shipping Code' things may be different.  I wish this was more clear when I had ordered because I fully expected to see my order being shipped today.  Disappointed.....

Anyway, I saw someone else's discussion with Online Support in another thread which suggested 7-10 days for red. I ordered Red too, and I wouldn't have gone for a different colour if I thought I'd get it earlier, so I'll be happy if I see it before 9th Feb. If I'm waiting after that, well...

Yeah, I think I would have still ordered the Flame Red.  It just would have been nice if DJI had spelled it out that the White and Black would ship first, and a week later the Red would ship.  I was excited all week waiting for TODAY to see the ordered shipped and to find out like this just leaves me disappointed is all.

It seems others who have been down this road before with DJI may have know better.  But this was my first direct order with them.  I guess, I now know going forward.

To be fair they do seem to be on the ball with the Air. Average wait on the Pro was 3 months when that launched

OK. Thanks for checking and posting the answer here, Ron. And sadly it's true that the Chinese NY holiday stops everything there. Let's hope that the red Air is dispatched before then.

While at the DJI event today, we were told that many of one retailer chain in the US had received "limited quantities of Red" for sale starting today.  For the outlets that did not get red yet, he said DJI had promised stock on the shelves within 2 weeks.  They are not a Best Buy or Amazon, so chances are high RED from DJI will be available soon.

Well I ordered my Red Air on 28th.I was fortunate enough to win priority shipping. I contacted customer service and they told me that out would still by 19th Feb even though I had priority shipping. I then get an email today telling me it has shipped. Very confused

Yeah, I didn't get the impression their customer service reps are completely in the loop as to what was going on.  Seems to be a communication barrier when I speak to them.  Just my impression.  

Glad to hear your has shipped!  At least things 'may' be moving.

I ordered the Flame Red from Wex. The lady on the phone didn't know much when I called.

I notice they are showing the white in stock now but not the black or red.

I placed my order on the 23rd for the MA Red FMC. I've had chats with CS but they've been no help at all. They've only thrown me the standard "It takes 10 to 15 business days for shipping" over and over again. I specifically asked if there was a problem with the RED edition and was met with the same "10 to 15 days". In the end the only thing that they could tell me was "if you feel we cannot meet the dates you can always cancel the order"

It's very frustrating since I have a trip planned for the week of the 11th. If I don't get confirmation of delivery dates this week I will cancel the order. It just baffles me that you could place an order today through Amazon with DJI as the seller and you can get the black edition in 3 to 5 business days and yet they cannot even tell you when your order that was placed a week ago will ship.

Happy to hear some of you guys did receive confirmation on your MA's.

I contacted them today and was told it would be 10-15 working days before it shipped. When I ordered the drone it said January 28th it would ship. Now I’m being told the new time. Going to probably report to BBB.

Hey Guys, thought I would share my updates. Ordered the Flame Red (not the fly more combo just the Drone) on 01/25/2018 and it now shows (as of 01/31/2018) as shipped with a tracking number. Off course the tracking number is not available when I plug it into Fedex. But looks like a shipping label was assigned to my order is all that is. Either way, I figured I would update the forum if this information helps.

Looks like things may be moving.  As of this morning I'm now seeing the status of my Flame Red Mavic Air changed to 'Shipped', but no tracking information as of yet.  Still a move in the right direction.

It seems that no one knows for sure what is going on within DJI. I received two different emails from the support account and sales account. These read:

"For the red color’s version, it is expected to be shipped within 10-15 working days. The order’s shipment will be based on order’s ranking. (A terrible lie)
Would you please kindly wait for a few more days? Thank you for your kindly patience."

and

"Upon checking your account on our end it shows that your order will be estimated to ship on February 14, 2018. There would be another 3-5 business days for the delivery once the product ships out. You will be sent an email with the tracking number of your order so you can check it real time.

Please know that we are doing our best to ship out all orders on time and we take these matters seriously and appreciate the patience with this. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you and understand that you not only invested your money in this but also your time.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter."

So it may ship until the 14th or it may ship before, who knows the sure thing is that DJI doesn't know.

This is my first drone so I'm very dissapointed in the experience.

Ordered MA red on 1/23, woke up yesterday 1/30 to an email that says the order has shipped with tracking number, it's in route.  The DJI site still does not show a tracking code, I've only been able to check it thru the email, says it's scheduled for this Friday 2/2

Ordered mine (Flame Red, just the drone not the Fly More Combo) on 1/25/2018 and got my tracking number and Fedex track shows movement and delivery on Monday 2/5/2018. No special access or priority on my order. Compared to the Mavic Pro shipping circus that happened, I am pleasantly surprised, looks like DJI may have just improved and learnt from their Mavic Pro shipping experience last year!

Finally received my FedEX tracking number with ETA 2/05/18. While I still think that a little bit of more information is needed from DJI's part I apologyze for my desperation.

I've been spoiled by Amazon.
