Awesome video. What city is this?

I always watch these videos at full screen on my 28 inch monitor.  The first 15 seconds of your video was a bit blurry.  Then, at 15 seconds, things seem to "snap" into focus.   BUT - I've seen this same thing with several other posters.  I'm becoming convinced that it is something that YouTube does in their processing of videos.  It must take their programs 15 seconds to get all their settings right.   Strange.  Meanwhile, very enjoyable video.  Nice job.

Thanks and you're absolutely right about that. At first I thought to double check the resolution but found that the post-prod of the video was as clear as day so yeah it's probably YT and their funny business.

And, I pay for the monthly subscription....go figure.

Before watching the video, I opened the player full screen (28" monitor), selected the video quality to 1080p, and then started the video. It was sharp the whole time.

I think TY starts the video at a lower resolution until it can get enough through before bumping it to a higher resolution. Probably because people don't want to wait for the higher resolution to buffer and start.

Ha!  "People don't want to wait for the higher resolution to buffer and start."  That's true.  They don't.  I don't either, but I have to start the video and immediately stop it to let it buffer up often for 720P.  Sometimes I'll have patience or the path will improve enough to actually be able to watch a buffered 1080P video.
