Does anyone know of any decent graduated ND filters for the Mavic Pro? I took the chance on a cheap Neewer set but they aren't that great, will probably be ok for sunsets but only had a chance to try them with a typical bright white English sky... check out the yellow colour cast on the top corners. Could remove it with colour correction but would prefer something optically cleaner to start with.

Very nice video.
Smooth and great atmosphere.
Indeed, better invest in proper filters I guess.

Thanks, the problem is I can't find any. Normal ND filters there's a few good brands but I guess graduated filters are a lot harder to make when it comes to the size of the Mavic lens.

I know.
But why would you want graduate ND filters?
You can't adjust them while in the air right?

So the horizon might be in another part of the frame and you can't compose your frame the way you want it with a fixed grad filter.
I use them a lot, but only in my 'ground' camera. Compose my shot, look where the horizon is in my frame, adjust grad ND filter and shoot away.
That won't work while in the air.
I guess that is why manufacturers don't make them.

You can't adjust them as you would with a dslr but as you rise up with your drone you can adjust the gimble to match the horizon. They won't be used in all situations but it's just another tool to have when required. Like in my video above, I was out in the bright coming down into the darkness. You expose the best you can for the sky and the darkness below the tree canopy. There's decent graduated filters for the larger drones. The mavic needs all the help it can get when it comes to exposure and dynamic range!

yeah I flew out and back down the same way but the flying out looked better so I reversed it, flying back down and in at an angle was pretty difficult and was really close to the branches on the right.

Hi, sir. I think you can consider to use the filters from the website: https://store.dji.com/product/mavic-nd-filters-set-new
