Was just at a Sam's Club on Sunday.  They have a combo too, but just the Mavic Pro and the Bag.  No extra batteries, guards, etc.  $999 there.  Costco wins!

Holy crap....that platinum bundle is available at Costco here in the US for $1199 right now!  I'm kicking myself for replacing my MP just a couple of weeks ago for $825 from Amazon!

That's what I paid all-in for my Mavic Pro but didn't buy it at Costco or get the included prop guards and shoulder bag. It's a good deal nonetheless, but I like DJI's $899 deal that included a free battery.

That's actually the deal I took when I replaced my Mavic stuck in a tree.    I still have time to return it to Amazon.  Trying to decide if it's worth it for the Platinum upgrade with goggles.   $1199 is a good deal - but the truth is I probably won't use the goggles because of the LOS thing, and I have several batteries that wouldn't match.   Prolly going to stick with what I have...

I would for sure do it.  you could always resell the Goggles and get $300 for them.  Shoot even $1199 for the MP bundle is good and they throw in the $349 goggles?  If I didn't pay $679 for my refurb MP say I paid $899 for the MP and was in the return window I would without a doubt do it for $300 more.  If I had the $$ lol.

I like the idea of the DJI Goggles and think trying them with the Mavic Pro would be quite an experience. It's just that I already pack my gear and it takes up my entire backpack.

Purchasing the Goggles would just make my gear way too big and impractical with what I originally had in mind carry everything in a simple form factor, which is how I do it now.

That was the other reason I'm not going for it....too much stuff.

I didn't realize the goggles were only $349 now.  Even more reason for me not to return my MP.  I paid $825.  This bundle is $374 more.   That's $349 for the goggles and $25 for the platinum upgrade (ignoring the bag).   Plus I'd have to pay shipping back to Amazon.  When you look at it that way, it's less attractive and not worth the hassle to me.
