Hello allMy remote control only charges to two lights before stopping charge.  As I use the P4 for work  I can’t afford the time to send it to DJI for repair.  So...will any Phantom 4 controllers ( advanced  or Pro) also work with my P4 standard? I’ve only had mine for less than 12 months.

The P4 uses the GL300C RC, same as used by the P3 Pro and advanced. The P4 Pro & P4 Advanced RCs would not work to my knowledge with the P4. Or a used unit from eBay etc would work.

Hi there, the RC of P4P/P4A is compatible with Phantom 4 Aircraft. You can set from here: Remote Controller Settings>Advaced Settings>Remote Controller Type(Choose Phantom 4).

Hello Susan, your answer suggests that any of the P4P or P4A RCs can be set to work with the P4. From other posts I've read I've only seen you mention this in relation to the 'Plus' versions (with built in display) of the P4P & P4A RCs..

Am I correct in thinking now that any of the P4P or P4A RCs can now be set to work with the P4 ?

You are correct. This feature has been available for standard P4A/P4P RC now.

#Quick Reply Here#With circuit board removed and turned over ,  immediately next to the rubber boot that covers the 5 display lights there is a 8 pin component which i believe is the regulator.I only reflowed this one component and now everything is working.Can someone try this first and confirm their results.We may have this sorted.
