looked on Olympus site & couldn't find a 14-42?????
If you look in the X5s user manual, in downloads https://www.dji.com/zenmuse-x5s?site=brandsite&from=nav , it tells you preferred lenses with balancing rings needed.
The zoom is controlled by the touch screen similar to how you can control the tilt by sliding up or down.

Make sure you get the right model as there are several 14-42 Panasonic lenses.

yes. part# H-PS14042 is the one you need for the X5s, the pancake type. Zoom works with a slider on the dji software.

You can fit the Panasonic 45-175 onto the X5/s, it doesn't mean it's recommended

i flew today at a horse farm with the x5s + 14-42 mm and the DJI weight ring and it looked shaky when operating the camera (left, right, etc.) but stable when the m210 just flying. looked shaky on the CS, didnt give me confidence that it was going to be a smooth footage.

also, had trouble auto-focusing. you tap to focus but kept giving red (unable to fix the focal distance) vs. green (in focus).

there is no +/- like on the z30 zoom, it is more like move the go4 app slider on the screen to get it from 14 mm to 42 mm.
will have to give it another chance. but definitely didnt give me a good feel today in front of the client.

Thanks, so you've confirmed you didn't see any distorsion, I mean image is not 'rounded' when you use zoom with 14-42mm?
So, it s a nice lens for take picture.

That's enough for my purposes.
I need only foto, not video.
This effect is often found in practice.

at 00:43 the road is rounded, at 0:45 the road is straight.........
Does Adobe lightroom can correct this fisheye automaticly by using lens profil?

Do you deliver or use fisheye picture in your job? or do you correct it?

In my case, whatever inspection or artistic purpose, the fish eye is not acceptable....

I'm not doing anything about it.
I suspect this may be due to the balancing ring and the X5S.
Officially, X5S are not  supported lens Olympus 12-42 mm.
