Into my 3rd week now without my bird.
Starting to climb the walls lol.
2nd time to dji for repairs last time it took 6 weeks to get my baby back.
Just curious anybody else have these feelings of seperation when parted from their drones for long periods?
Or is it just me?

Simple separation anxiety.  You must be to attached.

I get withdrawal symptoms without being separated, the weathers so bad and the days so short I’m lucky if I can get one flight a month. I’m finding myself checking the weather forecast so I can book a day off to go flying.

Yep ... not good being droneless , mine is in for repair  it has only been a week but feels like months .  How sad am i ?

Why I bought two. You need a back up.

Ive been looking for a good backup drone cant afford another new one at this stage.
I stupidly gave away my old drone to my son and of course he has never had a problem with it lol.

Tell him you need to loan it, I have my P3S as a backup and if all else fails I’ve got a hubsan  H501s I  can fire up, if I ever get the chance.

Snow here and way below 0 , simply grounded till it warms up... as a phantom user I hate winter in Canada !

No i couldnt do that he enjoys flying it as much as i do.
Ill just have to keep looking for a good backup drone.

Not to mention two versions of www.RealFlight.com. The Drone version is a blast...

I would agree. Have the same problem myself. I don't need to book time off work as I don't work, but the weather is so foul at the moment I have had 30 minutes flight time in three weeks.

RHP I wold agree. I am currently learning to fly a racing drone on a simulator, but I am using Freerider. Free unlimited trial mode with one scene, or $5 for the full version. Great value not quite the same as the real thing though.

That sounds like fun. There are several racing drones in the RealFlight Drone version. Quite the skills it takes to go through all the gates, at near full throttle. This might be something that would interest you.

My wife wants me to purchase another drone. She's encouraged me to buy the Inspire 2 but I told her maybe later as I already the 2 DJI drones. She smiled.

By the way, yeah I know that feeling, glad I can fly at all times, ....well if the weather permits.

I just got mine back from repair after 6 weeks. Very difficult wait while grounded all those fine weather days. Now I’m just waiting for the weekend to come so I can fly. Hoping for good weather.

You might need something like this  Sim or DJI Game whatever it is to shorten the waiting time.
