See what I did there???  ;)  Took my air for a quick flight up to 200ft to capture sunrise over our neighborhood early this morning.  One thing I noticed with the Air, is all the panoramic files are combined and saved in a single jpeg by default. Does anyone know how to save the individual pano files so I can merge them myself??  Thanks!

Completely agree!  I like flying early and late, when lighting is the best and fewer people around to bother you

In settings, you're able to specify whether the Air saves individual panorama files or just the merged one. Make sure to check that you want the master files -- you'll be a lot happier putting it together yourself and will be able to create a much larger image.

What do you actually use to put the picture together?

Does anyone else find that the auto created pano from the air (9 shot) comes out the same size as the standard shot? Obviously it includes a much bigger scene area (FOV) but the image resolution is still ~4k x 3k? Maybe the downres it to make it Facebook/Instagram friendly? When I merge them from the files on the SD manually, I of course get one much larger.

I typically use the stitching feature in Adobe Lightroom.  The results are better than DJI's own stitching algorithm, plus I end up with a RAW file where I can make detailed highlight/shadow adjustments.

Yep, I've seen the same.  A downsampled jpeg is saved by the DJI software.  This is why I'd much rather merge the images on my own, plus they are stitched in RAW (.DNG) format, so I can apply final edits.

Thanks!  I’ll give MS ICE a try. Is it only for Windows?
