This is a new P4P that I've only recently purchased. No flying time yet.

My S7 Edge does a reboot after connecting to controller. It does it everytime at different intervals. Anywhere from 5 seconds to 3 minutes.

Depuration USB is enabled ?

Just to verify, do you mean that the phone reboot or the DJI GO 4 app crashes? If it is the phone reboot, you might need to contact the Samsung support.
If it is the app crashes, please try to reinstall the app by scanning the QR code on the official website, please note to do a backup if there are important files in the app before the reinstallation. And try to switch the phone to Airplane mode. See if it helps.

I have the same problem with my P4 and samsung s8+. I think it is the usb-cable or connector in the phone that is the problem. If i do not touch the cable it works but if i touch the cable it crach and the phone reboot. i will try when i have an other phone.
