Hi,

1. Does the gimbal work in sport mode as it works in normal mode? This 3 axis is tempting in that size of an aircraft but if it's off in sport mode, we didn't achieve anything.

2. Is there a possibility to fine tune the Yaw input as there is in the p4 settings in the app? Without that, the AIR dose not have anything special for my cinematic shooting needs over the spark. (maybe a little but not enough..)

3.what is the speed in regular mode? From anyone who has experience with the view angle of the lens, is that speed enough for general use of shooting objects from a distance?

4. does the asps work in active track mode?

Agree with you on the need for fine tuning of yaw input. As you, I have done a lot of tweaking with my various settings to create smooth and sweeping video.

Might want to watch Youtube videos for information.

1) Yes, the gimbal works in sport mode. It's not glitchy or anything.

2) I'm 99% sure the Mavic Air has this setting. So far, all DJI quads I've seen including the MP and MPP have it.

3) Speed as in speed of the quadcopter? If that's the question, the max speed you'll get with the Mavic Air in regular mode with no wind is about 28 kph. Mavic Pro tops around 30 kph and it's perfectly fine. Yes, Mavic Air's speed will be plenty enough to take great videos from a distance.

4) Yes

The Mavic Air is really a great quad and a huge improvement from the Spark. Spark has horrible flight time, has 1080p instead of 4K, and only has a 2 axis gimbal.

You should also consider the Mavic Pro.

3. Max speed in P Mode = 17.9 mph ( 28.8 km/h )  ( 42.5 mph in S Mode )

Can someone, please, point me to the Mavic Air Manual page where setting gains, expo and sensitivity of the sticks is explained? I fail to find these and some members here claim fine tuning is possible so your help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you all for your info!
As you see, the one who replied beneath you is saying otherwise regarding questions 4.

He's right regarding ASPS. You don't need ASPS in Active Track anyways.

Why not?
I think it's where I need it the most.
When I'm not controlling the ac and it's on its own, I'd prefer it would know how to bypass obstacles smoothly.
The current obstacles bypassing in other aircrafts is far from usable for professional cinematic shooting...

Hi Moshe, to answer your second question I have made screenshots of the available settings. There are plenty of them. I'm in a hurry right now but will post them a bit later for you.

Yes! Thank you all for replying and helping!
That really helps.
The only thing that disappointing is the lack of asps when active tracking..
