yes, that the same for me. in the Store it says 4.2.5. if checking with the app shows .2.4. but it was updated

Figured it out, I had to refresh the update screen in the store a few times and it finally popped as an available update.

curious to know if its safe to update. i just recently updated to 4.2.4 which  supposedly brings OTG functionally back. i say supposedly because i have not tested OTG functionality myself and here comes another update.

i did not want to lose the chance of getting OTG functionality back and lose it again on another update.

Just updated to 4.2.5 but won't have a chance to test until the weekend.  Hopefully, everything is still stable.  Sounding pretty positive from those on the forum though....

I just made some footage and editing in an app, and my impression is that there is more available filters for video editing. Or maybe I’m wrong.

You think releases for Android are slow? I believe CrystalSky is still at 4.1.18, 3 releases behind. You would think after paying good money for this dedicated device it would be the first to receive new updates instead of the last one.

Anyways from what I've heard 4.2.5 has fixes for Mavic Air and P4, OTG for Spark is still hobbled for Android and I have pretty much given up on DJI to ever get this fixed for good as far as the Spark is concerned.

Who would've guessed the Android version of GO 4 app has a higher user rating than the iOS version, 2.7 vs 2.3 for iOS.

Just had a chance to test on my lunch break.  The new DJI GO 4 App (vs 4.2.5) looks good.  Tested both with and without OTG cable.  Cable still works for those interested.  Though, I don't fly with it anymore.  No need in the USA as far as I'm concerned.

I use the cable for lag free video.  It just ensures I do not have an interference at all.  In areas where you fly I do not think that will be an issue for you but I have noticed the difference in wifi congested areas.

Yep...all good.  People always ask me so I tested both.  

Just confirming what most of you probably already know regarding DJI GO 4 App (vs 4.2.5) and OTG Cable.

Unfortunately, I don't have an Android phone to test.  Hopefully, another member can assist you with that question.  Though by now I'm sure this information is posted somewhere in another thread.  

there is no 4.2.5 for Android yet.

any issues with taking photos, just wanna check before i upgrade.

iOS 4.2.6 is at the App Store. Some minor changes, focused on MavicAir mostly. Is's snowing here so I can't fly.

My experience has been the same as with 4.2.4 and 4.2.5.
Minor gripes in the "Me" section of the app.  Flight records don't sync, the flight points are zero as are the LVL points (whatever those are. LOL), can't access the forum due to "login failed!" message. I don't see anywhere in the app to log in/out of my account now.
Will try flying with 4.2.6 later today.  Note that both 4.2.4 and 4.2.5 were fine while flying the Spark.  I suspect 4.2.6 will do fine as well. I hope. LOL!

Solved my "Me" section issues with Go 4 4.2.6 (and likely 4.2.4/4.2.5).

I found where I could log in to my account since it wasn't showing up as in previous versions of Go 4.
From the initial screen with the drone image, I tapped on the upper right corner icon (the 3 horizontal bars) and selected "Flight Records" from the menu.  It presented me with the login screen.  After putting in my password, my Flight Records now sync and show the correct points and I can access the forums again.

I'm happy that my minor gripes are solved!

Just noticed this 4.1.6 on IOS - thanks for sharing!

I had to also refresh a few times for it to appear in the ios app store...

My IPad Mini 4 updated to 4.2.6 this morning. It's pouring the rain again today so all I can test is the Air indoors and that works fine.

Okay...I tapped the three bars and Flight Records...no sign in came up and records show zero time, distance and flights.  I signed out and back in and have same results.   This after updating to 4.2.6.  To be honest, I don't check this info very often so I don't know how long the data has been missing.

Does the RC and Spark need to be powered up to get flight record info like Total Flight Time, Distance and Flights???  Or is that data stored on the phone???

Just an additional tip for IOS 11 users:

The App store does not always prompt you to update when a new DJI GO 4 app is released. For example if you are on 4.2.5 and you go to App store and 4.2.6 is available, you will see that your app is up to date. You can not update to 4.2.6 unless you delete your version 4.2.5 (which will also delete all your data).

To delete only the app and retain all your data:

Go to iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage (and wait for it to load). Scroll down until you see DJI GO 4, then press the arrow (>). Press Offload App (the DJI GO 4 app will be deleted but all your old data will remain).

Once it is uninstalled, press Reinstall App (the latest version will be installed and all your data will be retained). You don't even need to log-in again.

I hope this helps those who are having the same issues as mine.
