Just been looking at the Mavic Pro section of the DJI online store for the UK region and can see that the Mavic Pro has been reduced in price from £1,099 to £899 - no sale notification so thats the new official price and the fly more combo is now £1,149 reduced from £1,359... Big savings! Though the Mavic Pro Platinum prices remain unchanged this is a knock on from the launch of the Mavic Air for sure.

Probably a confirmation that they're readying the Mavic Pro 2 (or Mavic 2 Pro!) - it's rumoured to be imminent and a significant price drop on older models is usually a good indication! Let's hope so :-)

That did cross my mind too but I think seeing the Platinum drop in price will be more indicative of an MP2 and I also noticed no price drop in the US on the MP as still $999...

I’ve seen a few places selling the MP for 899 us.

It is definitely not on sale in the NL.
Even more expensive than a couple of weeks ago as I remember.
The combo is € 1499,- in the DJI store.
Now that is known for its high prices, but still.
No sign of MP2 coming up....

A few days ago there was one webshop selling the combo for € 1149,-
Now it is € 1169,-

So have I mate but this is from the manufacturer who set the original RRP - so if they're asking £899 now other outlets will drop even further. This happened with the original P4 then they stopped selling it a year ago...

Massive price difference... And given that the Platinum has not dropped in price that makes it £300 more expensive than the MP now. My ESC's must be made of gold LOL

I bought my Platinum Flymore on Amazon UK for 1,240 but it’s back to 1,399 now

Yeah, that is a good price. My point isn't really about how cheap you can get the drones though it's about DJI themselves reducing the official RRP which in my experience is indicative of something looming on the horizon...

Yeah I wasn’t expecting the price to go back up, with the other models creeping down lately. But it’s curious that the pro dropped so much and not the plat unless it’s due to relative stock levels may be? If they have a lot of pro’s to move and few plats? Just a theory

When that happens they put a seasonal offer or temporary sale in place. £899 is it now - no red markings around the price to highlight an end date etc - thats the price mate. It's dropped £200 over night and no indication of going back up... Kind of sad as I feel that this is the start of the end of the original Mavic Pro but it's inevitable with all drones of course as it's tech when all is said and done. Six months is a long time in this hobby - interesting months ahead!

I bought my Mavic for £899 with a free battery a few weeks ago and from Maplins of all places, normally they're the most expensive of retailers. Had suspicions back then.

That was probably the Xmas offer in place - the prices went back up after but watch them come back down and stay down now after this...

And keep in mind that the overall superiority of Mavic Air will push the prices further down...

Of course it does mate though the whole Air vs. Pro seems a little raw amongst some LOL Personally, I think they are both equally fantastic drones for what they are designed to do but the Platinum is so superior

Not sure yet.
I think they won't drop much further than this webshop now sells.
But my funds are rather limited right now.
Last year we moved to another house. One from 1931.
Very beautiful and a lot of work

There are some repairs that need to be made to our roof.
We found out it was in worse condition than we thought when we replaced the boiler.
So I have to make some decisions about that first and see how the bank account looks after that...

I am considering the Air as I don't have a mini drone but I must have read about 20 posts now of issues with the small one so I'm glad I've waited for the eager beta customers to sort it all out. On one post the blades starting crashing into the drone - should be called a munchkin rather than a mini drone hahahahahahahahaha LOL
