I got this error in my phantom 4 pro, Can any one help me out with this?
Tried formatting card in ExFat, Fat32 and also using SanDisk software. I’m able to format card completely but when I insert that in Drone.. I’m getting SD Card Error.
Tried different card of 16/32/64 GB.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.!

Can you format in the drone. That's the best way.
If the sd card isn't valid, it wouldn't matter where you formatted it

Were any of those cards the micro sd card that came with your flight kit, or perhaps boughten alone?

What speeds are listed on the cards?

Hey Anuj, do you still keep the original SD card? If yes, please check whether the same error appear. If still no luck, I'm afraid that you may consider to send it in.

Ok, What about the other questions? You only answered one.

Was either of those cards, the one from the flight kit?

Try to blow out the slot in the reader, with a little luck it is some dirt on the connectors.
If it don't help you might try if you can examine the slot with a good magnifier to see if the pins inside has damage, they can be quite fragile.

Hello there...
I have the similar issue on my brand new P4Pro V2.0.
It works with the original 16Gb card, but my 64Gb (U3) card is not recognized, despite the fact it works great in my P3SE.
I'm running the latest firmware (factory installed).

DJI, have you collected the knowledge base on that particular fault? Any solutions here?

Those are the symptoms of a card whose writing speed is too slow. What card is it exactly, full details?

Yes, I believe it too. But I was confused since my P3SE which has 4K camera onboard works great with this card.
It is Silicon Power microSD XC I Class10 UHS-1, 64 Gb

You say the card is not recognized in the P4P, what does it say or how does it show?
To make sure the filesystem is as the aircraft prefer it is recommended that the card get a format done in the aircraft.

The specs of the P4P tell to use a card with a write speed ≥15MB/s, there is no similar statement for the P3SE but being the P3SE has a recording rate of max 60Mbps where the P4P does 100Mbps there is a big chance your card is to slow for the P4P.

Card is not recognized by the drone reader, so it is impossible to format it onboard.

Card is not recognized by the drone reader, so it is impossible to format it onboard.

Then that is a pretty good indication it is not fast enough. The most recommended card is a Sandisk Extreme Pro. They are a bit more expensive, but work reliably.

Where can I check allowed speeds for SD Cards? Bought a Verbatim 32GB but the Phantom 4 Pro doesn´t read it.

I'm now having this same issue on ALL 15 SD cards I keep in a protective case that I have ALWAYS used with my unit error free until now. Never an issue until yesterday. Last flight was in July and no issues.

I just had the samew issue; drone/SD card worked great on one flight and then the next day it didnt. I am a professional and keep my Phantom 4 v2 in a case...no reason for the sd reader to stop working. But this has nothing to do with the SD card.

Facing the same issue myself, anyone any tips on how to get past this?

Will try and get a can of compressed air and see if any dirt is present in the slot.
