I would like to comment just what you said about snapshots directly from the video.
The pictures from 4K video (P4P) are much better than you said. You can get the snapshot up to 14Mb and with 3800 x 1200 p res. It is a quality not only for the web use but you can use it for whatever you want.
I compared  photos of the same scape taken with the drone camera and snapshot from the video ant you can hardly notice the difference! This is for me one of the best benefit of 4K video if you not need to have it for the professional use.
And this is the only reason why I take video in 4K. Just for playing video 2K or even HD quality is enough for the normal size monitors.

Thank you! Yes I agree with you! The reason why I said that I use this technique because when it comes to editing you work with only a jpeg instead of a .dng.

The shots are completely amazing, no questions asked!

Nice pictures!!! Coincidentally I just filmed about 80 deer in one location yesterday at sunset. I was shocked how many deer paths were in the woods once i got over them. Haven't had time to edit the video yet. It's just frustrating that around here the deer don't come out until just before sunset. So you have to crank the camera settings to lighten things up and even then as high as I come in so as to not scare them, it's hard to see where they're at on the small Nvidia shield screen.
What I filmed last night I had no idea there were that many deer in the video until I got home and reviewed it! Lol
I keep getting the bug to do the antenna mod where you hook up two signal boosters and mount the wifi antennas on your car roof. If I do that I'd like to mount a decent size PC monitor in the vehicle since the Nvidia shield has an HDMI out. That would be so cool to be able to see everything like that.
Looking forward to seeing more of your deer photos.
