So this christmas when I got the Spark, the OTG support was already gone. But now that its working for some people, I want to try it for myself. However my phone (LG G5) has a USB type C port and the RC has a micro USB port. I havent found a proper cable that has USB type C on one end, and micro USB on the other because I heard you need a cable that transfers data to get the OTG to work. What am I supposed to do? (If you are linking prooducts, please keep in mind I live in Canada so please dont link american websites) Thank you in advance to any replies!

Just get an adaptor to convert your large usb plug to a micro usb, there are many different types and length, this is the smallest

or you can go for the straight USB C to micro usb cable, you'll need about 8in of length to reach the controller micro usb port

Watch out for the micro usb port on the Spark controller, it's not the normal type with the squared off corners, so you'll need to orientate and line up with the internal tab which is located in the bottom half of the port. The micro usb plug hole is also offset towards one side of the plug either top or bottom.

Some people have broken the tab in the controller port by jamming in the micro usb plug without aligning it properly.

What I used with my Nexus 5X which is also an LG phone was an short OTG cable (micro USB to regular USB female) and a Google branded USB type C cable (USB type C to regular USB male). The OTG cable goes into the controller and the type C cable into the phone, the two can be linked by the other regular USB ends and the phone will recognize the controller. It's important to use a high quality USB type C cable and not one of those cheap ones, those can potentially break your phone.

Or a Google branded USB type C cable but I don't know whether they are available in Canada or not.

wait is the OTG cable working again?  Mine is still missing data (GPS/Battery/etc) with my spark and Pixel 2 XL phone and tablet.

For iOS the telemetry data seems to work again when using wired connection with spark.
But still not officially supported by DJI, Android has telemetry still N/A.
