Hello

I was flying my drone and it suddenly said connection lost while it was right above me. Then it said "return to home" and went back to where we started from then the signal came back and i tried to get back to where i was when the it said connection lost and after that i never found it again. i guess it just went under water.
when i say say connection lost i mean it said "connectoin" on the remote and the video from the drone went dark on the phone. That should not happen. and it happened right after upgrading the drone to the latest firmware (the one that was mandatory and it wouldn't let me fly without upgrading). This have never happened before and i believe it is related to the latest update.
What do you i need to send to DJI and how? and how do we go forward from here?

I would also try using the "Find My Drone" feature in the DJI Go 4 app.

Did you fly of a boat ?  If so you must switch to dynamic home point.  But  you already knew that. One other thing is the antennas on the RC must face the drone. The AC antennas is dircted mostly horizontally.  The weakest signal from AC is when its right above you.

Looks like you were in class c airspace.

FLY SAFEGEO ZONE MAP  https://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-map   does not show any restrictions in the  El Pajar area.

The class c is not relevant i have been in that area many times.
Why should the drone loose connectivity with the RC for no reason. as you also can see in the log it lost connection to the RC many times giving me almost 0 control of the drone.
The antennas where always pointing in the right direction towards the drone.

Yeah that is a clear issue with the drone itself... losing connection over and over again whilst you were sending the Go Home command... then looks like it malfunctioned and auto landed because of the class C airspace warning. What a drag! "and it happened right after upgrading the drone to the latest firmware" ~ Advice: Do NOT fly over water, high altitudes or man made objects right after a FW update. That is a very very bad move. That is kind of YOUR fault on that part... knowing DJI FW bugs are pretty common. My mavicdar would have said don't do it... especially over water. Sorry for your loss, hopefully DJI will have mercy.
