Hi Guys,

The joy of installing the latest firmware update for my P4, after a number of people had reported the new V02.00.0700 seemed to solve a lot of stability issues on the P4 I decided to update the AC last week.  Here is a vlog of the experience and the problems I encountered and finally the solution to successfully up date the P4 using the Assistant 2 s/w on the MAC.  After the update was fully completed all seems fine but the weather in the UK has not been great to try it to much. yeah after solved all firmware and fly safe database issues i have the same problem in Manchester area...

Thanks for the video. I am having the exact same problem, but on Windows10. I tried your fix, downloading DJI Assisstant 2 v1.22 for windows from the mavic air page and it didn't fix the problem, v1.22 still gives me the 'Update failed' message. Oh well.

My fix was to use the DJI Go 4 App' to update. I would have preferred to use Assistant 2, all appears to have gone well though.

i`m not so well experienced user of P4 like most of you but after reading  a LOT of posts about P4 firmware and other problems, in my opinion the sequence of specific actions is the most important (the key thing;)) DJI crew! Time to start working on seperate manual about this. Huge "book size" pdf manual;)

Good to hear that you successfully update your drone. Hope you can fly your drone quickly.

Still won't work for me with v1.2.2.845. Update Failed Update Log Error. Come on DJI get with it.

Hi i have the same problem, failed firmware update at 55%
please help .

I have the same issue and and fails at 55% as well. Unit restarts a couple times then fails. tried every tip I could find
out there but nothing seems to work.

Which version was that ?

The P4 has moved on even since V02.00.0700 which had few, if any, complaints on the forum.

I have the same issue in Windows 10. DJI Assistant version 1.2.5. I dont have the OTG cable so i cant try the DJI GO App.
Has anyone found a solution on this? Any older version working?
