I have just recently bought a Mavic Pro Here in Thailand where i live, I am travelling to Australia with Thai airways and have been advised that Thai airways does not allow drones on thier planes in either checked baggage or cabin with or without the batteries removed.  This seems totaly absurd to me. Has anuyone else come across this?

I have not come across that issue in the USA or the European Union countries.  But it is within the airlines rights to restrict these items on board.  That is why it is always good to check the airlines and the countries you are going to visit before traveling. It can really save time and frustration.
