Is there any availble charging stations for TB55-s for faster charging? I know DJI offers station for Tb50-s.

I use the "YX for Inspire 2". You can charge 4 batteries at the same time.

It would be nice if DJI came up with an adapter to make their Battery Charging Station work with the TB55's as well as the TB50's.

zuidwest, Have you used the YX on the TB55's?  I looked at that charger, was wondering how well it worked.

the dji inspire 2/matrice 210 charging hub (model IN2CH) for TB55 batteries can accommodate 4 but only charges 2 at a time, with the remaining 2 waiting in queue.
takes about 90-120 min to fully charge a pair of batteries. once the first pair is charged, the 2nd pair starts chargining.
very slow

Exactly, very slow.  I'm building a program for Public Safety.  Plan on running 2 M210's with dual camera setups, which require TB55's.  I'm going to need a lot of the hubs to keep batteries going on longer operations, which isn't ideal.  DJI needs to come up with a better solution for the TB55's considering the TB50's are pretty much worthless on the M210.

Trying to do the same for both a GIS division and accessibility for public safety. Having a way to properly manage the TB55s is needed. The TB50s don't last long enough with both the XT2 and the Z30 mounted on the 210.

If flying with the Z30, it is my understanding the TB50's are not compatible and TB55's should be used.  I am sure I read it on some DJI documentation.

We are using a pair of the M210 charging hubs to recharge 6 pairs of TB55's - agreed, it takes ages.  We're looking into an "in the field" charging solution so we can run a relay of charging.

An in-the-field solution would be great, but the added cost and weight may be the same as adding three more pairs of TB55s to your inventory. We did that, and our field usage is supported. For two days in a row in the field, I had to get up twice in the night to swap batteries around on the hub, due to it being so slow. The cube gets very hot as well in sequential charging of 8 TB55s. I am buying another hub/charger, but if I add another pair of batteries I will need yet ANOTHER hub. A bulk solution is needed, for sure.

We hadn't tried the TB50s with the Z30 yet. I just looked at the capacity of the TB55s vs the TB50s and saw how long the TB55s last with the Z30/XT2 combo and did the mental calculations on how long a pair of TB50s would last. I guess it is a good thing we didn't try!

I am most concerned with the ability to discharge the batteries to proper levels for longevity of use at the price a pair of TB55s go for. Second would be the ability to have a pair or two of TB55s freshly charged every 24 hours for immediate use in an emergency situation. Then, if, after 24 hours they are not used, they are discharged to storage levels and a new pair is brought up to charged for the next day. Rinse and repeat every day (morning routine while catching up on the DJI forums and drinking a cup of coffee).

Hey we modified the battery station to charge 4 TB55 at once. We made a few more to sell at www.volarious.com

Have you had any issues using the YX for the tb55?

Sorry to be late with answers on your questions.

Yes I use the YX for inspire2 for my TB50's and TB55's batteries. When I put 4 TB55's, they are charged all 4 at the same time.
The only issue I had was that after charging with the YX that the voltage between a pair of TB55's had a little difference. Then the drone will not take always take of. Best option is to charge them to 90%-95% using the YX and then use the DJI charger that comes with the M210 to charge until 100%.

I have a spare TB60 battery station (BS60 Intelligent Battery Station), and I was wondering if that could be used to charge TB55s? Has anyone investigated this or had any success?

very old post I know but that charger is still available. It does not work, there are many review by users who heard a big bang the first time they plugged it into the wall, the fuse of their home blew and the charger was a $99 paperweight thereafter.
