Hi folks, yesterday i had a wee play and used the goggles, sadly i could only get them to show in 720, i tried 2.7k recording and i tried  1080 @ 30fps recording and still only in 720, both times were in usb connection, not sure what i am doing wrong

Bashy, did you check the stats and abilities of your goggles before you bought them?

Its the DJI goggles, they should work in 1080 when recording in 2.k or lower, i have the P4P, they were used  connected to the USB

Contact DJI for some pertinent info, if they are 't working as expected.

Im hoping Aardvark might be able to shed some light on it, i have had them working in 1080 before, so it does work, just not got a clue where i have gone wrong this time

Please tell me the firmware of your goggles and the firmware of your drone. Thanks for your support.

HI, its 01.04.0200 but i have just noticed a new version available now so i will upgrade to that BUT, i did get 1080 previously on this current version so i must be doing something wrong, i tried again todaay, i had recording set to 2.7k @30fps and still they would only show in 720 :/

Also, why when you click on the release notes in assistant its just a blank  box, same with my phantom 4 pro, when i try to look at the release notes, just a blank box

I think the newer version for the goggles is aimed at providing head tracking for the Mavic Air.

From the Mavic Pro release notes (Goggles, Mavic Pro & its controller versions all keep same naming sequence).

 Fixed an issue that prevented J+R format photos from being downloaded.  

This update includes an update for the DJI Goggles firmware:
 Added support for Mavic Air: Support for Head Tracking (requires Mavic Air remote controller firmware v01.00.0100 or later); support for shooting and viewing Pano photos; and support for downloading and viewing photos and videos.   

Check the 'liveview' setting on the goggles is set at 1080P, and that the 'save settings' box is ticked before 'confirming'.

Thanks but I believe that was correct, i checked that setting on numerous occasions  :/
