It first reads DJI GO and Go Create and then states DJI Go has stopped unfortunately. Then a line for report and also OK. This is an android phone.

Wow, like pulling teeth. Is this a gaff, or what?

I like a good joke, always.

So are you using a device that is on the DJI approved list? Android or iOS?

Give more details, and stop the charades. ;-)

Sorry- I assure you it is only my not having a clue. I downloaded to my android ZTE phone. The download seemed to take and as I said it acts like it will open but I haven't seen the app open up as of yet. Thanks...I don't mean to be antagonistic.

For starters, If you ever need to delete an app and reinstall it, it is advisable to clear your internet cache and cookies, and reboot the device before reinstalling.

I'm not sure why you are having the problem you describe, but obviously it's not normal.

Have you spent time to RTFM already? Reading the flight manual is mandatory.

It first reads DJI GO and Go Create and then states DJI Go has stopped unfortunately. Then a line for report and also OK. This is an android phone.

What is being asked is:

What phone or tablet model you are using?
What ios or Android version you have, to determine if it will ever even connect.
DJI has a list of  devices in which the Phantom's program (firmware) has been written for.

I have a Samsung Note 3 (Android V5)  and I have problems, and have an iPad mini 4 Tablet ordered.

If one doesn't retain their sense of humor, it would most certainly drive one around the far bend.

Sometimes it gets quite frustrating, attempting to give assistance to new comers here.

But it can also be very rewarding, knowing that you helped someone over a hurdle, bump in the high road.

Classic,
Don't be sorry and please don't give up.  I was laughing at his sense of humor, not at you.  There are a lot of informative people on this forum and all they are asking is for you to help them help you with more information.

OK Classic take a deep breath and relax. Help is on the way if we know what we are attempting to do.
So start with basics. What DJI product do you have ( Phantom 3 Standard), was it new or used?
You are using an Android ZTE phone (I know nix about it other than it is a Chinese phone).
What does your screen tell you when you start the P3S?
The more info the better the chance of assistance. The forum will do its best to get you in the air.

If you can't provide the necessary info, then yes, please try www.phantompilots.com or others.

The questions asked were to try and get to the bottom of your problem. If that is too difficult to figure out, then how are you going to negotiate and navigate a drone.

Have you got any prior RC flying experience, before buying this drone?
Thankfully , DJI drones fly themselves... So you can concentrate on taking pics and video.

No need to be flippant about it, the guy is new here and does not know how things work, for all we know, this could be the very 1st forum he has been on.

Valid points Bashy, but RHP among others are trying to help him.

If he can't be bothered replying with the information we need - to help him, then he is not only leaving himself high and dry - but I am then wondering if he can't even answer a simple request - should he even be operating a drone?

What more can be asked?

Post a video, or show the screen capture, something. Ha

I still think this post was a court jester...

Are you thinking of going back a few firmware versions?

You only need sign in the one time, what's the big deal?

No, just going up a few versions from 3.1.3. The big deal I guess is that I dont want to sign in. I just want to use the product I payed for and not send any data to DJI. Afraid to even update firmware these days. Might loose features I previously had.

Updates often repair previous problematic firmware.

Careful what you wish for. Ha

Anyway, you only sign in once. Not every time that you fly.
It was only the most recent update, for the Phantom 3 Pro' that required me to sign in.
It took about six tries before it accepted my password.
