I crashed my Phantom 3 Standard last week. One wing snapped, but the case was mostly OK. Not so much for the gimbal.

Whenever I turn on the unit, the gimbal sits slightly off centre and seems to be overloading. Diagnostics in the app are telling me everything's fine.

I took off the back plate and adjusted a screw/motor rod. It has to be pointing towards the body (I had to turn this slightly with a pair of pliers, but it's in the right location now).

Any idea how I can fix this? Or is it time to buy a Mavic?

Note: I can't see any ribbon tearing.

I remember seeing a video where they checked io see if the flat edge on the on the rod inside when you remove the backplate was horizontal, they then adjusted this accordingly.

On a side note I noticed your drop are on the back. I always thought these should be on diagonal corners.

Yeah, I did that. No change, unfortunately.

What do you mean by drops? Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the terminology.

Sorry meant the anti drop pins, typing on my iPad and it’s got a mind of its own when it comes to auto correct.

You probably know but they are the pins that go through the Dampers at the top.

I would think about sending it into DJI for repair if the calibration was successful.

This happens sometimes, so I'm familiar with how to realign this. It didn't help, unfortunately.
