I am curious, everytime there is a update, do we have to update the batteries too? Will the DJI GO4 App inform us if the batteries need updating? Seems kind of dumb having to charge all the batteries just to update them.It is kind of hard to fly when the weather is 14 degrees out.Thank you for your time and response.

Yes they need updating too. You’ll get a firmware mismatch warning in the app to let you know

The batteries do not always need updated, you will get the mismatch warning if they do.

Hi Tom, like Mullheliflier mentioned, if the batteries need an update, the app will prompt you to do so. Or you can also refresh the firmware with the new batteries via DJI Assistant 2. Thanks.
