Good evening all!

How can I downgrade my version of DJI Go4 ?
Need to blind-fly since the last combo Firmware/DJI Go4 update because of an hawfull choppy image transmission.

Already downgraded the firmware to previous version, it still th same. I need to go back to the previous DJI Go4 version but I don't know how to do.

A couple of days ago I noticed that image transmission got awful. Half of a picture normal, but lower one just crap. Afterwards just noticed that DJI GO updated. Don't plan to downgrade to 2.4.5 exactly, but I'll just follow the topic.

What device? What drone? If android just download apk file for the app you want. If you have MA you don't have much to select from as the older apps don't support MA.

Two days ago, for Mavic Pro :
- Upgrade AC firmware to .300
- Upgrade MC firmware to .300
- Upgrade DJI Go4 to 2.4.6

=> Very bad, hawful and delayed transmission. Impossible to select a target for quickshot or tracking, freeze, pixelation, ... (Before that, it was just PERFECT)
So, today :
- Downgrade AC firmware to .200
- Downgrade MC firmware to .200
- Uninstall DJIGo4 2.4.6 and re-install the same one

Still crappy video transmission.....
The only possibility left is to downgrade to DJI Go4  2.4.5 but I don't know how to do.

My smartphone device is a Samsung Core Prime and worked PERFECTLY two days ago before the 3 updates.

When you downgrade just start with the app and then test, then the FW and test.

By the way... after my firts question clncerning trust on apkmirror server, apk for 4.2.5 is missing. One can only find the 4.2.4 then 4.2.6 :-(

I am sorry, all I can do is pass on what I have learnt from searching and testing, and reporting. This site seems to be the go to place for the older versions. It has worked for me, if it doesn't for you, again I am sorry.

Sorry Bud, I dont have a fruity device, so never look for solutions??!
I have always seen over the months that Apple has been really strong, whereas us Android users were suffering since around .18, now I see even IOS guys having issues too???

Newer use IOs but you can look here.

Sorry arkel - i am certain that i saw a notice stating that once the latest version was loaded that it cannot be downgraded :-( sadly it seems you are stuck with it and with the rest of us -

thanks for mentioning your issue - here is an example of mine - breaks my heart that i wasted so much time thinking that i was in the wrong and spending so much time trying to fix something that finally turns out maybe not to have anything my incompetance but more to do with dji - but they do not respond... aaaahhhh. I am sending my drone back on monday (one last weekend to fly before she goes away)

It looks like the same as was in the 4.1.18 first edit. Do it change with cache locally when recording on or off?

i did not try with cache locally off because i edit with dji app and i can only use that edit platform if i cache locally to devise

Thats for firmware. Software can be sideloaded. DJI also allow (or last time I looked) for the firmware to be rolled back too in Assistant. You could go back to .100 if you wanted.

Maybe it's a bit off, but who can tell me how many versions of firmware exist for Mavic Pro?
I know 0100, 0200 and 0300. Just recently I realized that my had installed 0100 when I bought it, don't plan to upgrade cause there are no adequate reasons.
I think it would be helpful to have a list of firmware and which version what changes applied.

Wow man, I dont know to be honest!! Not that it matters, if you have .100 or further, you cant go back..... unless....

I have the same problem. Using Android 7.1.2, including restoring the smartphone and leaving only the DJI GO 4 4.2.6 has this problem. Waiting for a solution to the case.

DJI does not seem to be willing to fix anything.
For me the last (more or less) stable Android version was 4.1.15, every later version bricks my drone (no video, spontaneous disconnects, resetting the height/distance settings).

Support? Nonexistant (apart from collecting our data).      VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!

Yes .15 was the best , after that it  all went downhill. Bad image transmission with ipad mini 4, which has a8 chip and apparantly this chip cannot cope anymore with the latest go apps. Bought ipad pro 10.5 inch. Works better , but for howlong ? Will it be before dji screws that one up too.
I reported this already , i really don’t know anymore how many times, but they do not fix this , and downgrading dji go app is also not possible which is also pretty frustrating.

Tip dji ? Let the engineers figure out the differences between the current apps and .15 , improve or delete it . But keep the ingredients of the .15 version

For your information, all's working perfectly again now.
Mavic Pro and its RC are downgraded to .200 firmware and DJI Go4 4.2.6 replaced by 4.2.4 => Perfect.

Did you read post #8? The app can most definately be rolled back??

We risk damaging our devices and crashing our drones for them and in return we get ??? that's right... NOTHING.

thats what I did.... been running all my drones on firmware from early 2017.

but DJI has updated their SDK late 2017 and now I want to use litchi again, which uses SDK.... so I need to upgrade.   came here to see if people still had problems with current firmware.... sigh......
