Only the second snowfall of this winter.

Thankyou. It's actually a screen grab from a video clip I shot this morning, in HD.  A bit of tweaking of the image afterwards.  Maybe the only snow we see this winter - it never puts much down around here.

Yes those clouds emptied upon us just 20 minutes after the flight. Similar weather this morning but it's turning to rain with gusting winds - so no flying today

That was with the old P4 when I'd only had it about 18 months.  Finally sold it on last month.  It had served me well.

The P4 really doesn't capture some crisp and sharp images,  its a shame the portability was a pain.

I was always happy with the imagery of the P4.  Possibly only bettered by the P4 Pro. Maybe I should have bought one of those at the time, but Hey Ho.

Snow scenes are often bright and cheery

I'm a bit behind on my compliments :-)... nicely done... LOVE shadows with sunset horizons...  Plus, we're expecting 8-10 inches of snow this w/e and I'm looking for post-storm inspiration!

As a retired rural resident with a snow thrower, I sometimes get smug as I watch people struggling to get to work (through the snow).  The, after clearing my driveway, I head out the the state parks with my snow shoes, camera, and sometimes drone.

I have a pal who emigrated to Sweden years ago. In the garage under his house, in the countryside, was a beautiful snow blower left by the previous resident.  First snowfall of the winter was about 1.5 metres. Unfortunately, this had all drifted into the downward sloping driveway to the garage - the doors of which only opened outwards.
SO he had to dig it out by hand and shovel.

Our drifting issues have to do with open fields to the north west.  Those winter winds push all the snow to the road "cut-aways"  (where little humps of rolling land are carved out for a level road) and then create a giant drift over the cut-away!  The plows then move the snow to the end of the driveway.... :-0  A real surprise when you return home to a 5' pile of packed snow!
