Hey Forum,

I'm the AC for a production company based out of Denver.  We're running Red Raven on Ronin 2, and it's been an absolute dream to work with.  My Camera Operator is itching to have basic Pan and Tilt controls over his shots, and I was curious if anyone had come up with a mountable Thumb Controller (Like the Ronin-M had), or some other peripheral that might enable that control.  

Anyone know of anything?

Unfortunately, I did not see a Thumb Controller for this unit. Have you checked the Gimbal Assistant app?

I got a Thumb Controller for my Ronin 2. It lights up and seems happy when I plug it into my Ronin 2.
But when I move the joystick or push a button on the thumb controller nothing happens.

I could not find anything that you have to initialize or connect the thumb controller first.

Any advise would be appreciated.

There are several on the market:

DJI makes one specifically for the Ronin 2 called DJI Ronin 2 Thumb Controller
Aerial Pixels makes another one which is also for Ronin and Ronin 2 I believe.
The DJI wireless thumb controller for Ronin M also exists and via Amazon I have been told it works with Ronin 2 as well.

All these can be found on Amazon or B&H.  

I’d love to know what other people think bc I have been thinking of having more control as well for my Ronin 2.  Love to know why they like it and how they use it.

i think it does work...at least Amazon says so...

Having the same problem.

Did this ever get resolved? I'm having the same issue.
