It was only my second flight. Didn't feel confident enough yet. I didn't want to lose my new spark in a volcanic crater

That's something I'd like too, so that's my plan when I go back. The good thing about a small country, is that a volcano like that is only a two hour drive away

Go on and visit Costa Rica! With lots of volcanos, waterfalls and beaches in just 20k square miles it's totally a must.

Actually there's not much regulation about drones in here. Mostly the basics: not flying above crowds or near airports; respect other people's privacy and properties, etc.. But aside from that you're free to fly for recreational use! For commercial you have to get a license and other stuff also
