Will Asteroid and Boomerng be made available for MP as well?

If it's true that DJI is going to launch Mavic Pro 2 soon, I'll bet that they update those afterwards to first generation Mavic Pro.

Exactly - on the drone it was designed for. Quick shots were not added to the MP via FW until September 2017 - 4 months after they were introduced on the Spark and the Spark sales had settled. They could probably add the new MA quick shots on the MP today but they won't as they are presently USP's to help promote Air sales.

If (and that's a big IF) we see an MP2 soon I think quick shots will be very low down the list of features but will probably have new ones unique to that drone in addition to these.

It may be a problem or not, but the Mavic Pro has no backward sensors... and in the boomerang mode it kinda moves back...

Boomerang ist the most appealing to me ... I always do it manually abusing active track :-)
Nevertheless a dedicated quickshot would be more comfy

I make all the different types of quickshots in Litchi's mission hub. There you can make 10 boomerangs and/or bananas in a row with different distances and world corners you want without having to cut. In fact, you can do everything that suits one without being restricted by DJI's lack of imagination. However, it takes a bit of exercise and is fun to play with.

In my best opinion, the collision sensors are somewhat upscale crap, since you can not be sure they work on all the obstacles you encounter. It's better to learn and think about what before doing the maneuver.

I second that, but it needs time and planning. On the other hand when the right moment occurs, you have to be fast, either doing it quick and dirty manually or by triggering a dedicated quickshot.

Let's see what comes up.

Would be great to get kind of stuff for the Mavic Pro..... Asteroid and boomerang are mind blowing! Please make it possible

It shouldn't be a problem. Dronie moves backward too and I have used it multiple times already. As long as you do it in an open area.

Since MP has no backward sensors how hard would it to be to mod it?
Just parallel the front sensors electronics and strap an extra sensor to the back.

I'm not sure if it's as easy as that.. ;)

I think over time Asteroid and Boomerang will be enabled on MP.

Noticed this weekend Boomerang & Asteroid do not work if you disable OAS.

Is there any news that Asteroid and Boomerang will be released for the Mavic? I'm waiting hopefully!

It would really be a great move if the remaining quickshots could be applied to the MP as well.
For my understanding the asteroid is just a combination of the dronie (already available as quickshot for the MP) and the 360° spherical foto, which is also already available for the MP.
@DJI Paladin, could you be so kind to give some information about the feedback you might ha´ve got from the developers.
I think a lot of Mavic Pro pilots would appreciate this feature as well.

Any news regarding the  New Quickshots for MP.
The last firmware update was in September 2018?
Is the support for MP  stopped?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think that DJI has any interest in 'retrofitting' new features to older drones.
