Heres a panorama taken today with the Mavic Air showing a tidal stream/creek near the beach in Northport, NY. Looks eerie like the creature in the Netflix series “Stranger Things”!

First seeing the panos and only later your description I initially wondered if you had flown to Mars . But very interesting pictures indeed, thank you for sharing!

My initial reaction was that you took a photo of your breakfast toast.    
I had to read the explanation to understand.  Very clever photo.
