I use the Mini 4 and have never had an issue with it and it is the perfect size and weight.

The Ipad Pro 9.7 wifi+cellular also works very well with the P4P and the P4.

Problem is with DJI Go4 App crashing a whole lot of times on most flights.
Which isn't the iPad's fault but the bad programming from DJI's coders...

I've yet to have DJI Go 4 crash with the Ipad, although it has done it on Android.  That said, I fly with Litchi most of the time, and have no problems with it on IOS or Android.

I've been flying Go4 only, so all the time logged on air was with Go4.
Plenty of crashes.

I was looking at Litchi but didn't head that way thinking how badly DJI's already terrible support and warranty would react to hearing that I was flying with Litchi...

Regarding the Go4 crashing, I've noticed that with the Phantom 4 Pro it crashes a lot, but with the Spark it doesn't appear to be crashing at all.

I use a iPad Mini 4 and it works great.  I think it is the perfect size.  I use it with a Spark, Mavic Pro and a Phantom 4 Pro.  Never any compatibility problems to this point.  I purchased the one with WiFi and Cellular.

I spit coffee on my iPad air when I read this. The good thing is, it's cleaner now than it was before...
