Hi

I'm not sure if this is a Crystalsky or Mavic firmware bug, as I updated the firmware on both.

I noticed now that my overexposure warning I have selected it on the CS is not working.

I like to use this function I feel it comes in handy.

I must try it with my iPad to see if it works with it.

Anyone else having this problem ??

Cheers

Marty

Have you checked the settings in the app? Perhaps the Overexposure setting is off. One way to do this is to go to the app, go to camera settings and reset the camera settings.

I’ve factory reset the CS twice since the update.
I reset the camera setting back to standard
Pointed camera a sun

Overexpose though engaged didn’t bring up Zebra lines. I swapped  over to iPad at same setting
Zebra lines are there and functioning.

Cheers

I sent an email to DJI support and asked them for some advise about the Histrogram & overexpose warning not functioning.
They said to return it for repair or replacement. I sent it back today as the weather for the next week is not good for flying.

Hi,

I own 2CS : Ultra 7" and Brigh 7", and I make this test with P4P
In both devices "Overexposure Warning" feature doesn't work.
When I active OVerexposure Warning in camera setting, there is no any zebra line. When I return in camera setting, Overexposure Warning doesn't stay activated: it seems GO 4 app issue. Even if I activate it again, it automaticly disable again...

Edit: About histogram I had to activate it several times before it stays displayed on my screen and before it stays activated.. but it finaly works..

Thanks Yo-yo.
I checked with another forum member and his is working.
He has the same as me Mavic/CS Ultra.
I thought it might have been Android Go4.
Anyway they might send me a new one.. lol

thank to you because I've just tried another test with my Crystalsky 7" Bright and in fact it works in this device.
The Overexposure Warning issue only appears with the Crystalsky ULTRA.... !
That's so crazy !

Hi,

I own 2CS : Ultra 7" and Brigh 7", and I make this test with P4P

Update...........

I’ve got them both to work Mavic!! . Overexpose and  Histrogram on both my Ultra and 5.5.

I fixed it on my Ultra first by accident I don’t know how it did it at first.

As I said it always had worked on my IPad and Iphone.

So connect up your Mavic to RC and then connect your Apple  iPad or Phone.

Hot swap to CS leaving the bird and  RC on and connected.

Bam..... it works.

Also fixed the bug in the Spark where the Histrogram would not work though selected the same way.

Gee these things for some bugs in them.

Yoyoman I’ve worked it out how to fix it.

In DjI Go 4 Camera Settings

When using my Apple gear to select a function you slide right to turn on  the function green.
Well in Crystalsky and Andriod you don’t slide you “Poke “ to turn the on.
Even though the function you have slid right is turned green it’s not engaged and functioning.

Sometime ago I sent my CS back to DJI and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with the overexpose warning coming on. They even sent me a video of the Zebra lines.
Quite obviously the DJI tech was a Poker not a slider.

This also explains why some on the Videos on my Mavic was not good sometimes and looked like it was out of focus because the AFC function as it was showing on. It was only slide on not poked. Lol

NB. You slide Apple but you Poke CS’s

These things still have some bugs in them.
