I was messing about, as ya do and I noticed this glare, o cannot figure out where it's come from, sun is directly behind me, no filters used, this is from the phone, and yes, its on the card too

I've seen this before, and I'm trying to remember what the explanation for it was. It may have  been light reflecting off the legs onto front of filter.

Edit:- I wonder if black tape on inside of legs (of aircraft ;-) ) would help ?

hi Bashy that happens in sunlight buddy people flying see it as well
I have a few videos with this its a natural phenomenon only seen when
your up in the air

Technically the hot spot you see on the ground from wet or dusty surfaces is called Heiligenschein, and when its produced in mist or clouds by water droplets its Glory.

yeh I was talking to a hand glider guy about it last year because I thought
something was up with my bird to lol johnsr has nailed it on the post above
